Our Mission.
Our mission is to make oral health education accessible — providing our communities with the tools, knowledge, and resources to maintain lifelong dental health. We believe that oral health should not be limited to confusion to people who don’t have the access or knowledge about it. Through educational content, community outreach, service projects, and student-led initiatives, we hope to encourage healthier habits while giving young people the opportunity to become educators, leaders, and advocates within their communities.
Why We Started.
Although many oral health problems are preventable, prevention can still feel out of reach when people lack access to reliable information, resources, and support. Project OpenWide was created to bridge that gap by transforming important health information into resources people can understand and use.
A Message from the Board.
When we first started this project, Project OpenWide was just a small group of students with one shared goal: To make a large impact. We wanted to make oral health and knowledge more accessible to the communities and people around us. We work together to research information, create resources, organize initiatives, and ensure that everything we share reflects the purpose behind our organization.
Project OpenWide will always remain committed with honesty, care, and intention. We hope our work encourages others to ask questions, develop healthier habits, and feel more confident about their oral health.

To everyone who has supported, joined, volunteered, or believed in what we are building, thank you for being part of our journey.

With gratitude,
The Project OpenWide Board
