Project OpenWide offers a variety of local and remote volunteer opportunities, making it possible for everyone to contribute in a way that fits their interests, location, availability, and skills.
Volunteers may participate in outreach events, help assemble oral hygiene kits, create handwritten encouragement cards, support educational presentations, organize donation drives, design social-media content, conduct research, prepare event materials, and assist with special community projects.
Some volunteers enjoy working directly with children and families, while others prefer writing, graphic design, organization, or behind-the-scenes support. Opportunities may be one-time, seasonal, or ongoing, and no previous dental or healthcare experience is required.
Eligible volunteers may also receive verified service hours for approved activities.
Are You Located Near Us?
Volunteer in Person
Volunteers located near our main team may participate in community outreach events, school presentations, hygiene-kit distributions, and other local projects.

Availability varies depending on upcoming events and current projects.
Volunteer From Anywhere
You do not need to live nearby to support Project OpenWide. Remote volunteers can create Weekly Bites, design oral-health resources, make encouragement cards, organize an Oral Hygiene Drive, support digital projects, or complete other approved assignments.

Remote opportunities allow volunteers to contribute from their own school or community while remaining connected to Project OpenWide’s mission.
